In October 2018 we completed a trek to Everest Base Camp, returning via Cho-la Pass and Goyko Lakes. Thanks to the Evertrek team and the guides for organising such a great trip!
I used the Viewranger app to track each day of our route. Below you can see the track and stats for each day. Note, the ascent figures (in metres) are the total ascent for each leg, not the net altitude gain – there are lots of ups and downs each day (though Day 2’s figure looks too high)!
I’ve also added a link to a 3D view of each day’s trek. This provides a 3D ‘birds-eye’ view of the route giving a much better perspective of the landscape. I recommend you increase the speed (bottom left of page) to 256x or 512x. Move the cursor to change the direction/angle of view.
